GENERAL LAVALLE's protests and gave Victoriano Acosta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Victoriano Acosta hit a great ball. Rene Tristan made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Marcel Queirós sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Marcel Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Tristan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 17th match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Justo Guerrero struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Doriva Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Paulin in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doriva Simões saved CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ from getting behind. When Edinho Favoretto fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's protests and gave Edinho Favoretto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Edinho Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Doriva Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Acosta in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Carlos Gerazan hit a great ball. Marcel Queiróss short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Rene Tristan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcel Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rene Tristan made a huge save. Rene Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Tristan having to interfere. In the 44thth minute of the game Marcel Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Cipriano Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Cipriano Paulin got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Queirós in the 59th minute of play forced C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper Rene Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Tristan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Queirós's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The supporters of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ booed when C.S. y D.
