Franco Orozco scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikulás Benediktsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Pucará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Firmo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikulás Benediktsson saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. Dumitru Teodoroiu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabin Corcoveanu was the one to do the kick off. Pucará's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
