The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Smurfarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Runberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Placido Bidari made a precise shot to the right of Bertil Hammarbäck. Smurfarna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Boquenses booed when Smurfarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Vallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Boquenses's Rodrigo Frichoso made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bertil Hammarbäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Balendin during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Askstedt in the 20th minute of play forced Boquenses's goalkeeper Lucio Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Damian Bero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Hammarbäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Placido Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bertil Hammarbäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Palos in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Damian Bero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bertil Hammarbäck, 4-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Askstedt was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Damian Bero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boquenses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Boquenses made a substitution. Ladislao Rocio replaced Eulalio Palos. With a little luck, Boquenses's Lucio Thomas got control of the ball when Arne Askstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Smurfarna's Arne Askstedt got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 70th minute, Placido Bidari made a precise shot to the right of Bertil Hammarbäck. Bertil Hammarbäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Bidari in the 88th minute of play. If Joaquin Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bertil Hammarbäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Martxot went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Boquenses were the better team. Boquenses's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
