Christian Wenerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfried Biehle took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Wenerdahl. Christian Wenerdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascal Prinzing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Hertha 1969's Pascal Prinzing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Adam Jäckel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Hertha 1969's Pascal Prinzing got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Wenerdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Jäckel in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Christian Wenerdahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hendrik Behloch.
