DirectorVisual.com's Isaias Euloxu pulled a muscle in his back after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mauro Iruinea came out of the goal and Eddie Forssell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernán Crespo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Hammarbäck having to interfere. In the 85th minute, one of Smurfarna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Smurfarna. Hernán Crespo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Bertil Hammarbäck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hernán Crespo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Bertil Hammarbäck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of DirectorVisual.com booed when Smurfarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Runberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 played minutes, DirectorVisual.com's Teofilo Etxatxu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bertil Hammarbäck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DirectorVisual.com reached it. Hernán Crespo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 99 minutes, Camilo Rio took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Bertil Hammarbäck to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over DirectorVisual.com could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Smurfarna throughout the match.
