Northland Vikings's Gustaf Kullgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkay Lemi in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Büyükada Commandos's Erdeniz Ankaralı got control of the ball when Philip Kilman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tony Nyman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erdeniz Ankaralı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Nyman ran back to his position shaking his head. Erdeniz Ankaralı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Nyman in the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Zülfikar Tanaydin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Nyman in the 27th minute of play forced Büyükada Commandos's goalkeeper Erdeniz Ankaralı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Philip Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northland Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Kilman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erdeniz Ankaralı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Nyman got free with Erdeniz Ankaralı in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tony Nyman came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Northland Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Nyman couldn't finish the play. Gustaf Kullgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Bedri Sözmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilton Paraíba's late challenge caught a Büyükada Commandos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilton Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tony Nyman to make the kick off. When Philip Kilman fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Northland Vikings's protests and gave Philip Kilman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Northland Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Kilman to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zülfikar Tanaydin got free with Gustaf Kullgren in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nilton Paraíba got his second yellow card in the match during the 57th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Northland Vikings getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Nilton Paraíba hit a great ball. When Tony Nyman came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Northland Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Nyman couldn't finish the play. Olov Ivarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Northland Vikings booed when Büyükada Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necdet Özaltın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erdeniz Ankaralı came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Northland Vikings's Tony Nyman. But to his dismay, Tony Nyman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gustaf Kullgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zülfikar Tanaydin in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necdet Özaltın in the 87th minute of play forced Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Gustaf Kullgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Büyükada Commandos's Zülfikar Tanaydin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustaf Kullgren. Gustaf Kullgren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After some careless play in the Büyükada Commandos defense, Philip Kilman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erdeniz Ankaralı. The Büyükada Commandos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erdeniz Ankaralı should have stopped the shot. Many of Büyükada Commandos's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Büyükada Commandos may have spent more time on the ball, but Northland Vikings were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
