Peter Tirpák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Roberto Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marián Laššak, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Hauser in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Roberto Chaves saved União Agrícola Barbarense from getting behind. After having played for 35 minutes, Peter Tirpák managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC rossoneri SENICA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Tirpák was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to União Agrícola Barbarense getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Claudinei Leal hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Alberto de Salles to make the kick off. Miroslav Chovanec hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Rogério Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zé Roberto Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Valadares in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matej Barták saved FC rossoneri SENICA from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Claudinei Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of União Agrícola Barbarense booed when FC rossoneri SENICA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position.
