SALIMEN's Aníbal Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Trancoso in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Sidnei Trancoso rounded SALIMEN's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Medeiros in the 22nd minute of play forced SALIMEN's goalkeeper Aníbal Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Branco made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gilberto Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes SALIMEN got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Santos. In the 27th minute, Ernesto Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Hugo Vides tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Gilberto Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, SALIMEN's Aníbal Branco got control of the ball when Gilberto Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Miguel Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SALIMEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR the free kick. In the 39th match minute, SALIMEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Dantas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SALIMEN booed when λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magno de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Martins. In the 57th match minute, SALIMEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Eger to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Bebeto Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aníbal Branco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR reached it. After 60th play minutes Hamílton Martins shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Aníbal Branco and just under the crossbar into goal. Aníbal Branco came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Hamílton Martins. But to his dismay, Hamílton Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Hamílton Martins in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SALIMEN's Miguel Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamílton Martins in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Branco saved SALIMEN from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Sidnei Trancoso made a precise shot to the right of Aníbal Branco. SALIMEN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 95th minute, Sidnei Trancoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
