Carmo De Kiev's zone, Ronaldinho de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Navarro Montoya came out of the goal and Ronaldinho de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Cearense in the 10th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Ferraz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Ferraz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaltino Cruz got free with David Godoi in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erivaldo Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Godoi having to interfere. Bruno Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Belmiro Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the F.C. Carmo De Kiev fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Saldanha couldn't finish the play. The corner ended in Isaltino Cruz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Internazionale-RS's David Godoi did a great save. 29 minutes into the match, F.C. In the 30th match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho de Amaral in the 35th minute of play. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Thiago Junior got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evandro da Rocha hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Jorginho Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorginho Soares made a kick off. Ronaldinho de Amarals short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Navarro Montoya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jorginho Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Navarro Montoya came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorginho Soares slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 56th minute. Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Internazionale-RS's Jorginho Soares in the 64th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Navarro Montoya was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for F.C. Carmo De Kiev through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Saldanha in the 68th minute of play forced Internazionale-RS's goalkeeper David Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thiago Junior in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Godoi saved Internazionale-RS from getting behind. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Soares in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Cearense came free, but David Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dino de Toledo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. F.C. Carmo De Kiev made a substitution. The Internazionale-RS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
