Lúcio Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Napierkowski in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Ekipa Damcia's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Senna came free, but Fabian Mojsiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elói Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Fabian Mojsiewicz made a huge save. The supporters of Ekipa Damcia booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Dominik Osikowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekipa Damcia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Osikowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cássio Aparecido hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Fabian Mojsiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Senna in the 28th minute. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexsandro da Silveira in the 31st minute. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Alexsandro da Silveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabian Mojsiewicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute Dominik Osikowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ekipa Damcia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Norbert Napierkowski hit a great ball. Elói Senna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Fabian Mojsiewicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fábio Leme got free with Fabian Mojsiewicz in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Ekipa Damcia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Norbert Napierkowski made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Dominik Osikowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arlindo Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored Nova Iguaçu MZFC's protests and gave Alexsandro da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro da Silveira. Norbert Napierkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lúcio Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexsandro da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Norbert Napierkowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Elói Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Mojsiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ekipa Damcia's Szymon Prosowski got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Osikowicz came free, but Lúcio Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ekipa Damcia booed when Nova Iguaçu MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Domingues made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Bartosz Fink sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ekipa Damcia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
