With a little luck, Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun got control of the ball when Alfonso Isaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute EL CERVECERO F.C. were awarded a corner. Alfonso Isaio went to the cornerflag to take it. Geronimo Florin charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Florin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Geronimo Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Isaio in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elvio Lohitzun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alfonso Isaio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Elvio Lohitzun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Geronimo Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Florin in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Salinas FC booed when EL CERVECERO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Elvio Lohitzun throw himself and got hold of the ball when Omar Dolcet in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Florin in the 39th minute of play forced EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goalkeeper Arnaldo Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Maule blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo Macerio having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Isaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elvio Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes EL CERVECERO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Ospetsu. Geronimo Florin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Arnaldo Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Macerio having to interfere. Geronimo Florin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Arnaldo Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Omar Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Alfonso Isaio in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salinas FC the free kick. After 78 played minutes EL CERVECERO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Iruinea. When Geronimo Florin came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Salinas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Florin couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Alfonso Isaio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Elvio Lohitzun. Anselmo Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Florin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Omar Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EL CERVECERO F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Salinas FC for a fine match.
