Fatih Aslan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Guipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 26 minutes into the match, BAYMIŞ SK's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Guipuzkoa came free, but Fatih Aslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Sacro Balompié's Iker Shepherd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fatih Aslan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. BAYMIŞ SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Lidon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Sun Chang Yi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

52 minutes had been played when some careless play by BAYMIŞ SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Apolo Peto was slow to take the kick. During this time Sacro Balompié's players had a chance to rest. In the 54th minute, Edip Uzhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute.
