Juninho Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Enrique Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juninho Freire was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 18th match minute, Motta Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Paulista to maneuver through the defense. César Boldrini was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Elias Freire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Freire really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 26 played minutes Vila Industrial FC got a freekick which was hit by 盛世 武磊. Juninho Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Leite went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, one of Motta Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Motta Futebol Clube. Juninho Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Leite in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Elias Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Motta Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 吕震强 in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52ndth minute of the game Elias Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vila Industrial FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zeca Esteves was slow to take the kick. During this time Motta Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Motta Futebol Clube's Zeca Esteves to fire away a dangerous shot which César Boldrini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Enrique Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeca Esteves hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Juninho Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Leite's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 90th minute, Marcinho Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Boldrini was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chicão Guerra in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César Boldrini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 96 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Arana came free, but César Boldrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Boldrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Arana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Motta Futebol Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
