The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jari Fallesen fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stevnstrup's protests and gave Jari Fallesen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stevnstrup getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jari Fallesen hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Lucas Ferreira got a free kick in the 18th minute. Ulrich Jakobsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Araújo in the 23rd minute of the match. Ulrich Jakobsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Loyola in the 31st minute of play. Joel Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico-Pascal Kapteina in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Stevnstrup's Nico-Pascal Kapteina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Branco. Joel Branco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Joel Branco was a little too slow when Nico-Pascal Kapteina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Villy Bjørnsholm made a kick off. In the 62nd minute Villy Bjørnsholm suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 63 minutes, Genílson Cardozo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Werneck FC - DMZ and the Stevnstrup players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Nick Burvil came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Stevnstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nick Burvil couldn't finish the play. In the 68th match minute, Stevnstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Kinros to maneuver through the defense. Stevnstrup's Ulrich Jakobsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Mendes in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Zonta to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Pedro Trepile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stevnstrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Trepile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Marthin Clementsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Branco. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marthin Clementsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Umberto Araújo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Umberto Araújo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Massa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Stevnstrup getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Pedro Trepile hit a great ball. Joel Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Heinungs in the 85th minute of play. Nico-Pascal Kapteina scored 10-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Jari Fallesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Branco was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nico-Pascal Kapteina in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Paulo Fernandez during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedro Trepile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Joel Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stevnstrup had played much better football throughout.
