After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Alpi Askolin got a free kick in the 5th minute. Byrne Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jyrki Rajamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jyrki Rajamäki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadhg Walker's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Byrne Doyle. Tadhg Walker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Jyrki Rajamäki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jyrki Rajamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadhg Walker in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Byrne Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urmas Vuorinen's late challenge caught a Zawisza Bydgoszcz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urmas Vuorinen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Urmas Vuorinen hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Jari Welling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brain Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brain Holt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Urmas Vuorinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 38 minutes into the match, Jari Welling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brain Holt. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jari Welling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Brenden Ramsey got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Brain Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urmas Vuorinen in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Tadhg Walker made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jyrki Rajamäki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Brain Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Welling in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jari Welling who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Brain Holt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brain Holt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jari Welling's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Brain Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jari Welling in the 68th minute of play. Brain Holt came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Palloketut's Jari Welling. But to his dismay, Jari Welling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. A sloppy throw-in by Pembroke Cooney in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Palloketut's Roni Kaitainen. If Jari Welling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Brenden Ramsey hit a great ball. Jari Welling kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Brain Holt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Zawisza Bydgoszcz from getting a goal against them. After 93 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Alpi Askolin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadhg Walker during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palloketut were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
