The audience was convinced that Lucjan Popowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabien Gury was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Amelinium Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Ange Folcher came free, but Miguel do Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Czeslaw Kopacz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Popowicz in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabien Gury, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucjan Popowicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Fabien Gury when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Czeslaw Kopacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucjan Popowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Popowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Amelinium Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Popowicz to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute Florian Tomporowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Gury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Popowicz in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabien Gury saved Perthes United from getting behind.
