Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diego Ralondo started the match with the kick off. Nereo Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lunca in the 3rd minute of play. F.C. YKE were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Universitario Pincharrata's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Oblemenco took the corner. Nereo Pedroso came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. YKE's Avram Chiru. But to his dismay, Avram Chiru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Ralondo came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Peyo got free with Helmuth Duckadam in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Ralondo in the 15th minute of the match. Universitario Pincharrata's Nereo Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Chiru in the 22nd minute of play. Diego Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. With 28 minutes on the clock, Rareș Agulescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for F.C. YKE! After 29 minutes of play, Universitario Pincharrata's Osvaldo Principe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmuth Duckadam was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Daniel Lunca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helmuth Duckadam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Conrao in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Nicolae Stanciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edgar Oblemenco hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Lunca to make the kick off. With a little luck, Universitario Pincharrata's Nereo Pedroso got control of the ball when Nicolae Stanciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Oblemenco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolae Stanciu came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nereo Pedroso could save by the left post. Nereo Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolae Stanciu in the 55th minute. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when Universitario Pincharrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Principe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Pedroso was a little too slow when Edgar Oblemenco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-2. After some careless play in the Universitario Pincharrata defense, Daniel Lunca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Pedroso. The Universitario Pincharrata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Pedroso should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Universitario Pincharrata's goalkeeper Nereo Pedroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Lunca. In the 77th minute Diego Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Benigno Conrao came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Universitario Pincharrata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Conrao couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Universitario Pincharrata's Nereo Pedroso got control of the ball when Edgar Oblemenco tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Daniel Lunca sped through Universitario Pincharrata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nereo Pedroso. The F.C. YKE players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
