A nice corner shot did that Ale Garna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel do Vale quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 21st minute, Leonard Pochorylo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Armanca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Franco Armanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Karp in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Budacz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Franco Armanca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Franco Armanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Karp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Caitano could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Miguel do Vale however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Fecha Libre's Edgard Sadurni to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel do Vale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Pochorylo came free, but Franco Armanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Orland charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Orland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Fecha Libre got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Orland. Franco Armanca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Budacz in the 44th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Fecha Libre got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Sadurni. Wladyslaw Gall took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Franco Armanca. Fecha Libre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 played minutes Fecha Libre got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Tome.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Pochorylo to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Thunderstorm Riders's Zbyszko Budacz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Armanca was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th minute, Zeledon Orland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszko Budacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fecha Libre's Franco Armanca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Fecha Libre from getting a goal against them. Franco Armanca was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Tadeusz Luty capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeusz Luty really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Wladyslaw Gall kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match, Tadeusz Luty tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franco Armanca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Fecha Libre booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Luty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thunderstorm Riders's Michal Dynda got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Michal Dynda off the ground. In the 98th match minute, Thunderstorm Riders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Dynda to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Monte in the 99th minute of play forced Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Miguel do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Thunderstorm Riders could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fecha Libre throughout the match.
