Quetzal Flyers Hammers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Intimos de Reynoso the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Johnny Stigsson got a free kick in the 9th minute. Thomas Runeberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erez Marica in the 10th minute. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Thomas Runeberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Quetzal Flyers Hammers from getting a goal against them. In the 14thth minute of the game Rikard Sjögren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intimos de Reynoso's Milio Cuero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes Quetzal Flyers Hammers got a freekick which was hit by Christian Lundqvist. The corner ended in Mattias Klack almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Intimos de Reynoso's Milio Cuero did a great save. After a rather tough play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Carlos Cuesta got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the game, Intimos de Reynoso's Leonardo Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Runeberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Rikard Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rikard Sjögren in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milio Cuero saved Intimos de Reynoso from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Rikard Sjögren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milio Cuero was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Intimos de Reynoso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christian Lundqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Quetzal Flyers Hammers's players had a chance to rest. Manuel Arrelucea hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute of the match Christian Lundqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Milio Cuero skillfully saved the ball. Libertad Brunati's late challenge caught a Quetzal Flyers Hammers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Libertad Brunati helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Quetzal Flyers Hammers booed when Intimos de Reynoso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Libertad Brunati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milio Cuero came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Christian Lundqvist. But to his dismay, Christian Lundqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rikard Sjögren in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milio Cuero saved Intimos de Reynoso from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rikard Sjögren was the one to do the kick off. Milio Cuero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Sjögren in the 51st minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Intimos de Reynoso reached it. In the 65th minute Tavo Arrelucea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Intimos de Reynoso booed when Quetzal Flyers Hammers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sean Moore quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pes Hudobro, made in the 78th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Moore came free, but Milio Cuero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milio Cuero was a little too slow when Christian Lundqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-2. Thomas Runeberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavo Arrelucea in the 89th minute of the match. Thomas Runeberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
