In the 29th minute, Acácio Baiano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Spyros Skafidas. The goal made the score 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Baiano got free with Spyros Skafidas in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Acácio Baiano in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Spyros Skafidas saved Green Hell F.C. from getting behind. Spyros Skafidas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Baiano got free with Spyros Skafidas in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Leão in the 44th minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Spyros Skafidas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakis Kefalas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Sakis Kefalas fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Hell F.C.'s protests and gave Sakis Kefalas a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Green Hell F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sakis Kefalas. After some careless play in the Green Hell F.C. defense, Edson Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Spyros Skafidas. The Green Hell F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Spyros Skafidas should have stopped the shot. Luiz Gustavo Leão struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Spyros Skafidas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irreal Madrid. The supporters of Irreal Madrid booed when Green Hell F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacharias Andreadakis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
