The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, one of Manchester Quijano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manchester Quijano. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Manchester Quijano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Casimiro Ayala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedicto Jayvier. Manchester Quijano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Ayala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Benedicto Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Eagles in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Josué Eagles made a precise shot to the right of Benedicto Jayvier. Manchester Quijano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Josué Eagles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabricio Nahia had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Mario Ferran's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 65th minute, San Fernando Eagles's Vicente Sol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. 73 minutes into the game, San Fernando Eagles's Josué Eagles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Jayvier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Manchester Quijano's Benedicto Jayvier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester Quijano from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goalkeeper Benedicto Jayvier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Eagles. Manchester Quijano's Benedicto Jayvier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Ayala in the 82nd minute of play. San Fernando Eagles played a much better game than Manchester Quijano and deserved their victory. The Manchester Quijano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
