The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the SAN LORENZO FC defense, Victorio Oliverio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Locke. The SAN LORENZO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Locke should have stopped the shot. A collision led to LiBeRiA F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. John Locke came out of the goal and Salva Moresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 83rd minute of play forced LiBeRiA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eustaquio Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
