After having played for 14 minutes, Bernardo Saborio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAPRIMECKBEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Saborio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Guillermo Araya put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sol. Guillermo Araya took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sol. Benito Sol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Guillermo Araya sped through Resistencia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sol. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Saul Villegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAPRIMECKBEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Villegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Felo came free, but Federico Vilchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Salomon Lankaster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAPRIMECKBEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resistencia the free kick. After 30 played minutes SAPRIMECKBEL got a freekick which was hit by Salomon Lankaster. Salvador Mata hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Resistencia's Candido Gorbea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Federico Vilchez. That made the score 1-4 after 38 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the match, SAPRIMECKBEL's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Gorbea came free, but Federico Vilchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Saborio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, SAPRIMECKBEL's Guillermo Araya got a free kick in the 51st minute. Federico Vilchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Felo in the 56th minute of play. Benito Sol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Araya went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Villegas got free with Benito Sol in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes, Aurelio Bixintxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resistencia and the SAPRIMECKBEL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelio Bixintxo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SAPRIMECKBEL defense, Tadeo Felo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Vilchez. The SAPRIMECKBEL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Vilchez should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Guillermo Araya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Benito Sol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th match minute, SAPRIMECKBEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Zamora to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SAPRIMECKBEL getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Guillermo Araya hit a great ball. Americo Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Guillermo Araya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
