After 3 minutes, Stelian Bojin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balaceanu UFC and the BESTIA GDAŃSK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Balaceanu UFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Stelian Bojin hit a great ball. Tomasz Andrysiak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabin Năstase read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Grigore Bilașco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jaroslaw Zembrzuski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Nicodim kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaroslaw Zembrzuski in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabin Năstase prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaroslaw Zembrzuski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaroslaw Zembrzuski got free with Sabin Năstase in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BESTIA GDAŃSK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomasz Andrysiak in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute BESTIA GDAŃSK were awarded a corner. Tomasz Andrysiak went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led BESTIA GDAŃSK's Tomasz Andrysiak to fire away a dangerous shot which Sabin Năstase despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jaroslaw Zembrzuskis short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Sabin Năstase to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jaroslaw Zembrzuski's late challenge caught a Balaceanu UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaroslaw Zembrzuski helped the player get up and apologised. Sabin Năstase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Mostowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Roman Dejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BESTIA GDAŃSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Dejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BESTIA GDAŃSK's Remigiusz Mudry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Abutnăriței in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grigore Bilașco was the one to do the kick off. If Aurelian Nicodim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelian Nicodim charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelian Nicodim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Aurelian Nicodim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Grigore Bilașco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 71stth minute of the game Jaroslaw Zembrzuski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balaceanu UFC's Sabin Năstase was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remigiusz Mudry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Bilașco, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Remigiusz Mudry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Bilașco in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Balaceanu UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Zembrzuski came free, but Sabin Năstase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goalkeeper Remigiusz Mudry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelian Nicodim. The audience was convinced that Jaroslaw Zembrzuski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabin Năstase was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Balaceanu UFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
