Piotr Panikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Labigne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Ben Labigne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hannover Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hannover Reds's Till Geppert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Lanczak in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Mrocezenko SSA booed when Hannover Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paavo Burgdorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paavo Burgdorf took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Piotr Panikowski. Piotr Panikowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Piotr Panikowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ben Labigne went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Marcus Bensch's late challenge caught a Mrocezenko SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Bensch helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Hannover Reds got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Bensch. Ben Labigne scored 0-4 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piotr Panikowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Mrocezenko SSA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stefan Trzenzalski hit a great ball. Ben Labigne struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Piotr Panikowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hannover Reds. 42 minutes into the game, Hannover Reds's Marcus Bensch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piotr Panikowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Piotr Panikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Labigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Piotr Panikowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Bensch in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Hannover Reds's Hermann Zach got a free kick in the 54th minute. Piotr Panikowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arvid Kuntz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 57 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcus Bensch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Piotr Panikowski. That made the score 0-7 in the 60 minute of play. Ben Labigne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Piotr Panikowski made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Bensch in the 66th minute of play forced Mrocezenko SSA's goalkeeper Piotr Panikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piotr Panikowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Bensch in the 67th minute. Piotr Panikowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paavo Burgdorf's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Paavo Burgdorf had several of the Mrocezenko SSA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Piotr Panikowski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Till Geppert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Lanczak in the 72nd minute of the match. Piotr Panikowski made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Paavo Burgdorf sent off a good shot on target. If Ben Labigne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piotr Panikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Bensch, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Roland Werra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till Geppert having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Mrocezenko SSA got a freekick which was hit by Barnaba Pisarczyk. Heinz-Gerd Giersch hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Till Geppert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Osielski in the 83rd minute of play. When Marcus Bensch was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. After 88 played minutes Hannover Reds got a freekick which was hit by Hermann Zach. After a defensive mix-up in Hannover Reds's zone, Przemyslaw Lanczak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Till Geppert came out of the goal and Przemyslaw Lanczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvid Kuntz got free with Piotr Panikowski in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Paavo Burgdorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Panikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Hannover Reds left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mrocezenko SSA.
