After 4 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Winszman. 6 minutes into the match, La Ballenera's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz came free, but Eulalio Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kryspin Wyrostek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Artizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eulalio Jakes was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Lucjan Turak hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Serafino Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Ballenera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Llorienzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Serafino Llorienzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kryspin Wyrostek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newcastle United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rigoberto Jerardo was slow to take the kick. During this time La Ballenera's players had a chance to rest. When Serafino Llorienzo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Ballenera's protests and gave Serafino Llorienzo a yellow card for diving instead. Pascual Osasun hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Przemyslaw Bulkiewiczs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Eulalio Jakes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Adam Paraszczuk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eulalio Jakes. The goal made the score 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek got control of the ball when Serafino Llorienzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Jakes saved La Ballenera from getting behind. Adam Paraszczuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Jakes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Jakes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Ballenera's Eulalio Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz in the 60th minute of play. If Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Karlo charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Karlo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Ballenera's Clemente Karlo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Evarado during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Ballenera getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Virgilio Evarado hit a great ball. Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Jakes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz in the 78th minute of play forced La Ballenera's goalkeeper Eulalio Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Bulkiewicz in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Jakes saved La Ballenera from getting behind. In the 80th match minute, La Ballenera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Gasteiz to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes La Ballenera got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Osasun. After having played for 83 minutes, Mikolaj Winszman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikolaj Winszman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Borys Szarmach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgilio Evarado got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Newcastle United had won after a very even match.
