With a little luck, Nacional de Rolândia's Vladimir de Souza got control of the ball when Primo Sans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Jaen in the 5th minute of play. Primo Sans might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir de Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primo Sans ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Primo Sans could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Vladimir de Souza however easily saved by the left post. Primo Sans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Vladimir de Souza made a huge save. Academia B.F.'s Wiliam Carioca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacinto Galvão in the 16 minute of the game. Primo Sans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir de Souza having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Primo Sans put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vladimir de Souza. Erik Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Jaen in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Academia B.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Saul Jaen came free, but Vicente Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimir de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primo Sans in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Nacional de Rolândia's José Augusto Meirelles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Catarinense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 44th minute, Jacinto Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nacional de Rolândia's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nacional de Rolândia's zone, Primo Sans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir de Souza came out of the goal and Primo Sans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nacional de Rolândia's Vladimir de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primo Sans in the 60th minute of play. When Primo Sans came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Academia B.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primo Sans couldn't finish the play. Primo Sans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Academia B.F.'s Lauro Quirino was substituted for Gustavo Martins. Academia B.F. made a substitution. Michel Totti replaced Primo Sans. Academia B.F.'s João Francisco Fontes was substituted for Wiliam Carioca. After 71 minutes, Michel Totti made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nacional de Rolândia's Vladimir de Souza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 minutes of play, Academia B.F.'s Michel Totti made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir de Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Saul Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Michel Totti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia B.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Totti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Totti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Academia B.F.'s João Francisco Fontes managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erik Messias in the 93 minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nacional de Rolândia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Academia B.F..
