In the 31st minute of the match FC CSKA got a corner. Jakarta Wolf SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doychin Chervenkov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Velimir Kocharkov hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yancho Dzhongarski in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hikmat Latuihamalo saved Jakarta Wolf SC from getting behind. Jakarta Wolf SC's Hikmat Latuihamalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yancho Dzhongarski in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Hikmat Latuihamalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlado Manchev in the 51st minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Jakarta Wolf SC's goal looked a bit too open when Varban Netzov came free, but Hikmat Latuihamalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jakarta Wolf SC booed when FC CSKA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlado Manchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Doychin Chervenkov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hikmat Latuihamalo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Yancho Dzhongarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hikmat Latuihamalo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jakarta Wolf SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
