Blas Hulberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. FC Philotimo's Sotomayor Pendones got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Angelo Geleberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Geleberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's Blas Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotomayor Pendones in the 38th minute of play. Blas Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delgado Tendiero in the 41st minute of the match. In the 48th minute Angelo Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quiñónez Louzara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sotomayor Pendones got free with Blas Hulberto in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Belo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quiñónez Louzara. Quiñónez Louzara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 86 minutes into the game, Gerardo Belo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Quiñónez Louzara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 minutes, Rolando Jaizki mouthed his way into the referee's book.
