The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Serafin Fernandes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini. Flávio Fantini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narciso Ignatius might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flávio Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Ignatius ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 7 in the game by Narciso Ignatius from a close distance when the talented Flávio Fantini managed to make a qualified save. S.C.PAULISTA's players were relieved. The corner led Bresikas's German Natal to fire away a dangerous shot which Flávio Fantini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 10 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Gonza. A collision led to S.C.PAULISTA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hugo da Fonseca hit a great ball. Narciso Ignatius hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Flávio Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Remigio Gonza hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Cláudio Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erasmo Ado skillfully saved the ball. Acácio Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by German Natal. Bresikas's Erasmo Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Alves in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Godoi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Serafin Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bresikas's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flávio Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Alves came free, but Erasmo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Serafin Fernandes hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito Sousa made a kick off. Flávio Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Ignatius, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Narciso Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Natal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Ado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Acácio Alves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. Hugo da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Bresikas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to S.C.PAULISTA getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hugo da Fonseca hit a great ball. Narciso Ignatius took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flávio Fantini. Flávio Fantini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 86 played minutes Bresikas got a freekick which was hit by Mario Chaime. Bresikas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
