The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abaz Vedadović might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christoforos Tsaligopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abaz Vedadović ran back to his position shaking his head. Christoforos Tsaligopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristijan Đurić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. defense, Franz Matko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoforos Tsaligopoulos. The ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoforos Tsaligopoulos should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Abaz Vedadović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoforos Tsaligopoulos. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abaz Vedadović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 22nd match minute, FISHBONE 06 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristijan Đurić to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Edber Kalajdžić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. defense, Franz Matko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoforos Tsaligopoulos. The ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoforos Tsaligopoulos should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Franz Matko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christoforos Tsaligopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 38 minutes, Radan Alić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FISHBONE 06 and the ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FISHBONE 06 getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Radan Alić hit a great ball. Slobodan Drakul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Matko scored 0-6 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christoforos Tsaligopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FISHBONE 06 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Radan Alić hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Marios Kaliasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FISHBONE 06 the free kick. Marios Kaliasis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abaz Vedadović made the kick off in the second half. Abaz Vedadović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoforos Tsaligopoulos having to interfere. In the 55th minute Marios Kaliasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edber Kalajdžić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristijan Đurić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoforos Tsaligopoulos having to interfere. Christoforos Tsaligopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Slobodan Drakul in the 63rd minute. In the 64th match minute, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogenis Kirmitzas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abaz Vedadović got free with Christoforos Tsaligopoulos in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franz Matko scored 0-7 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christoforos Tsaligopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the game, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Panos Antoniadis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edber Kalajdžić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. After 77 played minutes FISHBONE 06 got a freekick which was hit by Kristijan Đurić. 83 minutes into the match, ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sulejman Ortaš came free, but Christoforos Tsaligopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-9 became the score in the 83rd minute when Sulejman Ortaš elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 86th minute, FISHBONE 06's Abaz Vedadović ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christoforos Tsaligopoulos. Christoforos Tsaligopoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristijan Đurić in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoforos Tsaligopoulos saved ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Fran Velez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abaz Vedadović, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. FISHBONE 06 played a much better game than ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. and deserved their victory. The ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
