The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roberto Norino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rissi Meyer fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schurke F.C's protests and gave Rissi Meyer a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Marcus Keller managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Albigasta FC's Virgilio Romano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 8th minute, Silvano Pelayo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Schurke F.C's Marcus Keller didn't even have to move. Virgilio Romano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcus Keller firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 11th match minute, Schurke F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerd Kathan to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Romano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marcus Keller made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, Albigasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Abadie to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Carlo Richter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Schurke F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Urbano Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Richter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Brändle in the 29th minute of play forced Albigasta FC's goalkeeper Urbano Bemabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Keller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Quentin in the 33rd minute of the match. If Virgilio Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Mauricio Tello took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Marcus Keller to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Romano got free with Marcus Keller in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Schurke F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Virgilio Romano scored to the left of an out of position Marcus Keller, making the score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlo Richter was the one to do the kick off. Urbano Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Richter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mauricio Tello came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Albigasta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Tello couldn't finish the play. When Carlo Richter fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schurke F.C's protests and gave Carlo Richter a yellow card for diving instead. Marcus Keller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Tello's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After some careless play in the Schurke F.C defense, Virgilio Romano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Keller. The Schurke F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Keller should have stopped the shot. Mauricio Tello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marcus Keller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Mario Maju was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albigasta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schurke F.C the free kick. A collision led to Albigasta FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mario Maju hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Albigasta FC's Rodrigo Quentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Keller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Silvano Pelayo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Keller quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Urbano Bemabe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Richter in the 86th minute. Albigasta FC's Urbano Bemabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerd Kathan in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Schurke F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Romano came free, but Marcus Keller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Romano in the 94th minute of play forced Schurke F.C's goalkeeper Marcus Keller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albigasta FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
