After a rather tough play, Pan FC's Genaro Esquipula got a free kick in the 9th minute. If 武沙星 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan José Van De Gucht hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 姜梁思 having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Cedro got free with 姜梁思 in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The wind increased when Arnaldo Cedro made the kick off in the second half. Pan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamal Hamilton-Maurice was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pan FC had played much better football throughout.
