The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordarrol Tama helped the player get up and apologised. Cordarrol Tama hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jordi Demeyer charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordi Demeyer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Flamenco United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordi Demeyer to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match Aquiles Saavedra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christoff Dirckx skillfully saved the ball. Hannes De Reijck made in the 8th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Theo Van Haght immediately put the ball in play. In the 10th minute, Flamenco United's Youri Goolen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Club Olimpia's Cordarrol Tama got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. The referee ordered Cordarrol Tama off the ground. Cordarrol Tama hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Caldueño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Goolen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Eliazar Salantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoff Dirckx having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Dalmacio Caldueño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthieu Leempoels. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gorbea Sasiain hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Rubio Guardia got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rubio Guardia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliazar Salantes made a kick off. A collision led to Club Olimpia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Paulo Cabrera hit a great ball. Dalmacio Caldueño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Goolen in the 53rd minute of play. Dalmacio Caldueño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Leempoels, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 60 minutes, Foro Constante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Olimpia and the Flamenco United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Foro Constante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Olimpia's Dalmacio Caldueño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Van Eijken in the 63rd minute of play. Eliazar Salantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Christoff Dirckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubio Guardia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliazar Salantes got free with Christoff Dirckx in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 85 minutes of play Club Olimpia's Foro Constante was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd minute Matthieu Leempoels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Caldueño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Flamenco United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rubio Guardia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
