The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gökalp Koca came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the BAŞBUĞ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökalp Koca couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as BAŞBUĞ's Cícero das Neves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucjan Furgat. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Cícero das Neves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucjan Furgat came out and tried to block the shot, but Cícero das Neves slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, BAŞBUĞ's Bedih Suerdem got a free kick in the 14th minute. Radomil Kosowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulki Bulut having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, BAŞBUĞ's Cícero das Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucjan Furgat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, BAŞBUĞ's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Robak came free, but Hulki Bulut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Lucjan Furgat throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cícero das Neves in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When BAŞBUĞ's Cícero das Neves in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gliwicka Torcida's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Okanay Zabit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lucjan Furgat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucjan Furgat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gliwicka Torcida's Lucjan Furgat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Gliwicka Torcida from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cícero das Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucjan Furgat came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by BAŞBUĞ's Okanay Zabit. But to his dismay, Okanay Zabit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Gliwicka Torcida's Radomil Kosowski got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The BAŞBUĞ fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when BAŞBUĞ's Cícero das Neves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bedih Suerdem hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Hulki Bulut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Kazczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radomil Kosowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hulki Bulut having to interfere. The supporters of BAŞBUĞ booed when Gliwicka Torcida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Niezywy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70th play minutes Cícero das Neves shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Lucjan Furgat and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cícero das Neves in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Furgat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute, Bernard Robak made a precise shot to the right of Hulki Bulut. BAŞBUĞ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. Cícero das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Cícero das Neves made a precise shot to the right of Lucjan Furgat. Gliwicka Torcida's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. Cícero das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lucjan Furgat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gliwicka Torcida's Lucjan Furgat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bektaş Ali Tarhun in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Cícero das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, BAŞBUĞ's goalkeeper Hulki Bulut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernard Robak. BAŞBUĞ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
