The supporters of Gala booed when RO Army V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasios Ntaltos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Isnan Mahuse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Suryo Zaelani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Kapernekas in the 14th minute of play. Suryo Zaelani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fanis Kapernekas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Iosif Pantelatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Suryo Zaelani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Isnan Mahuse dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Helmuth Duckadam, 1-0. Helmuth Duckadam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loreto Turienzo in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isnan Mahuse. In the 25th minute, Fitrah Bagjanata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasios Ntaltos's late challenge caught a Gala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasios Ntaltos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RO Army V55's Anastasios Ntaltos got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Isnan Mahuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save RO Army V55 from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the game, Loreto Turienzo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helmuth Duckadam. Loreto Turienzo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loreto Turienzo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Duckadam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loreto Turienzo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 47 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Ucok Baba came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anastasios Ntaltos to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, RO Army V55's goal looked a bit too open when Duta Halim came free, but Helmuth Duckadam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Prodan kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isnan Mahuse in the 58th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anastasios Ntaltos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loreto Turienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gala's Alberto Di Blasio was substituted for Loreto Turienzo. Paskal Baragaño hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Daniel Prodan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gala's Suryo Zaelani didn't even have to move. Renos Stefanou kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Isnan Mahuse notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam. Helmuth Duckadam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Di Blasio in the 74th minute of play forced RO Army V55's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Gala players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
