C.A.P.J.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fanis Kapernekas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 25th minute of the match, Fanis Kapernekas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Narciso Montel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fanis Kapernekas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Narciso Montel made a huge save. In the 33rd minute of the match RO Army V55 got a corner. C.A.P.J.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Prodan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 35th minute, RO Army V55's Sokratis Symeonakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When Alexandros Papakrivas fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RO Army V55's protests and gave Alexandros Papakrivas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Alexandros Papakrivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fanis Kapernekas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fanis Kapernekas got free with Narciso Montel in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A.P.J.'s Narciso Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sokratis Symeonakis in the 45th minute of play. Sokratis Symeonakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narciso Montel came out and tried to block the shot, but Sokratis Symeonakis slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
