When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Artemio Tibalt put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Svajūnas Ričkus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Beninda in the 9th minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Mauro Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moose Knuckles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélio Paraíba in the 10th minute. The corner led Moose Knuckles's Hélio Paraíba to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauro Cordearo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Jaunius Balčaitis came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Moose Knuckles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaunius Balčaitis couldn't finish the play. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloyzas Valys in the 13th minute of play. Svajūnas Ričkus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Procopio in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Aloyzas Valys came free, but Mauro Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloyzas Valys in the 18th minute of the match. Mauro Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloyzas Valys, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Van Field could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Svajūnas Ričkus made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Beninda came free, but Mauro Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Aloyzas Valys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Van Field cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Svajūnas Ričkus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Moose Knuckles fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Moose Knuckles's Aloyzas Valys looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the match, Moose Knuckles's Jaunius Balčaitis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Cordearo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mauro Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaunius Balčaitis in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aloyzas Valys made the kick off in the second half. Van Field hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Jaunius Balčaitis made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Cordearo. SOUTH THUNDER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Mauro Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaunius Balčaitis in the 59th minute. After 64 minutes, Aloyzas Valys made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. SOUTH THUNDER's Mauro Cordearo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauro Cordearo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaunius Balčaitis's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Svajūnas Ričkus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Procopio in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Moose Knuckles getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Wiktor Kjellqvist hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-8 when Aloyzas Valys sped through SOUTH THUNDER's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mauro Cordearo. The SOUTH THUNDER fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Moose Knuckles were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
