Oliviero Vados came out and tried to block the shot, but Fritz Fograscher slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. After 14 minutes PoznanGalaxy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antonio Entrala who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Rubio Echaitia managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience was convinced that Perutxo Diego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volker Timmermann was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Oliviero Vados made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fritz Fograscher in the 23rd minute. In the 25th match minute, PoznanGalaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heinrich Labudda to maneuver through the defense. Vahid Kaas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Marcos Sagastia hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a little luck, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Oliviero Vados got control of the ball when Heinrich Labudda tried to sneak it across the goal line. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Oliviero Vados proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Robert Kalweit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Heinrich Labudda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perutxo Diego to make the kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Perutxo Diego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoznanGalaxy's Volker Timmermann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perutxo Diego got free with Volker Timmermann in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Luis Piepenburg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliviero Vados was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Heinrich Labudda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Oliviero Vados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PoznanGalaxy's Vahid Kaas got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Perutxo Diego ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Volker Timmermann. Volker Timmermann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Luis Piepenburg scored 3-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliviero Vados, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes of play, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Perutxo Diego made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Volker Timmermann was left in no man's land by his defense there!
