Alex Marcelli started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Los Galacticos booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Puglielli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhang Hong Yuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Amerigo Melucci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zhu Xi. Amerigo Melucci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Enzo Masciarelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Vito Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Galacticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunatics of Arianrhod the free kick. Vito Linhares hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Kong Jing Kun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ettore Albertini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Le received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ettore Albertini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Zhu Xi threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amerigo Melucci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Los Galacticos's goalie and right to Ermanno Di Franco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Los Galacticos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

The wind increased when Kong Jing Kun made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when Los Galacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kong Jing Kun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Jing Kun came free, but Ettore Albertini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Federico Puglielli. Ettore Albertini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kong Jing Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Zhu Xi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Qi Chen Yuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Albertini having to interfere. Ettore Albertini made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Kong Jing Kun sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Le came free, but Ettore Albertini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Marcelli came free, but Zhu Xi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes Los Galacticos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Amerigo Melucci who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Lunatics of Arianrhod's Alex Marcelli to fire away a dangerous shot which Zhu Xi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Ettore Corvi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Los Galacticos's Zhu Xi. Zhu Xi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Galacticos's Zhu Xi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Melucci in the 82nd minute of play. Lu Qing Hong hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Alex Marcelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhu Xi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Marcelli in the 95th minute of play forced Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Zhu Xi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Galacticos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
