After a defensive mix-up in ФК Фанагория's zone, Marek Kustermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Velichko Mitrakiev came out of the goal and Marek Kustermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ad Fundum's Franky Gallot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Kerkenezov in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Ad Fundum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Van Gertsuyden to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ФК Фанагория booed when Ad Fundum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorre Jespers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Tzolo Babanski managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Velichko Mitrakiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Maerschalks, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, ФК Фанагория's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Maerschalks came free, but Velichko Mitrakiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ФК Фанагория players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
