The referee ignored Black Mount™'s protests and gave Fedele Del Grosso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Black Mount™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Del Grosso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tostão Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Di Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, Black Mount™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Di Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. When Erivaldo Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesclarense E.C.'s protests and gave Erivaldo Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Coelho to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Venditti came free, but Tostão Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Black Mount™'s Emanuele Cannata got control of the ball when Kauan Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Guerra. Wilson Sá struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Emanuele Cannata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesclarense E.C.. Anfilogino Di Martino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão Cardoso having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Venditti came free, but Tostão Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Black Mount™ got a freekick which was hit by Jean Paul Galfrè. In the 32nd minute of the match Durval Tinoco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuele Cannata showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 32 minutes, Fedele Casiraghi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Mount™ and the Montesclarense E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Black Mount™ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fedele Casiraghi hit a great ball. A collision led to Black Mount™ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Amedeo Di Lorenzo hit a great ball. When Anfilogino Di Martino came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Black Mount™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Di Martino couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With an all-out effort, Black Mount™'s Tostão Cardoso threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vincent Sainz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Montesclarense E.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fedele Del Grosso was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Mount™'s players had a chance to rest. Antonello Venditti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Black Mount™'s zone, Kauan Guerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuele Cannata came out of the goal and Kauan Guerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonello Venditti got free with Tostão Cardoso in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Hélder Oliveira got a free kick in the 70th minute. Wilson Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauan Guerra scored 2-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuele Cannata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuele Cannata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Guerra in the 79th minute of the match. Kauan Guerra struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Emanuele Cannata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesclarense E.C.. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Wilson Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesclarense E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Cannata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Montesclarense E.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
