The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenny Ekeberg got free with Durval Paiva in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Durval Paiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Paços de Ferreira from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Leonardo Skarkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karlsborg's Kenny Ekeberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gert Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Durval Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Karlsborg's Kenny Ekeberg in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Durval Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Ekeberg in the 54th minute of play. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Durval Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Ekeberg in the 57th minute of play. Kenny Ekeberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Paiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenny Ekeberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Oskar Trillkott took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Durval Paiva. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kenny Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Durval Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Tor Brolin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karlsborg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 85th minute, Kenny Ekeberg made a precise shot to the right of Durval Paiva. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Karlsborg had played much better football throughout.
