When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Marcelo Penilla sped through Hope AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gheorghe Comănescu. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marcelo Penilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valhalla F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Penilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
