The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adolfo Alpizar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LinuX F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adolfo Alpizar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in LinuX F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Eric Duarte made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Răzvan Verzea sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Purje received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Duarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastian Purje slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, LinuX F.C.'s Jorge Padilla got a free kick in the 25th minute. Mihail Dănescu got in the 26th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Eric Duarte and thus it was 3-0. In the 29th minute, Sebastian Purje left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hope AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. LinuX F.C.'s Eric Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save LinuX F.C. from getting a goal against them. Bartolo Oso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Oso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Eric Duarte made a huge save. Keylor Cubero struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gheorghe Comănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LinuX F.C.. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Oso made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Padilla during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LinuX F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jorge Padilla hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Sebastian Purje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Barbu in the 58th minute of the match. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Oso, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Eric Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Barbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nery Ulate fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LinuX F.C.'s protests and gave Nery Ulate a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nery Ulate to maneuver through the defense. Warner Loria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Comănescu having to interfere. Beto Aguilar struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gheorghe Comănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LinuX F.C.. Keylor Cubero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Comănescu having to interfere. Eric Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Oso went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Bartolo Oso scored 7-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hope AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
