Golden Generation's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Ferrari the free kick. Rosendo Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.C. Ferrari's Dudu Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Lixandro in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Deivid Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Esquipula. Golden Generation's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deivid Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When S.C. Ferrari's Rui de Lima in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Generation's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Rui de Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Generation's Rosendo Esquipula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Baldomero Lixandro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Generation's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Ferrari the free kick. Aníbal Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Esquipula having to interfere. When Rui de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the S.C. Ferrari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui de Lima couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Micki Owen was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, S.C. Ferrari's Rui de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Esquipula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 59 minutes, Rui de Lima made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Golden Generation's Rosendo Esquipula tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th match minute, Golden Generation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brown Beckham to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Golden Generation defense, Rui de Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Esquipula. The Golden Generation fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Esquipula should have stopped the shot. Filipe Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Esquipula having to interfere. Rui de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui de Lima in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Esquipula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When S.C. Ferrari's Rui de Lima in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Generation's goalie prevented a goal. Rosendo Esquipula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui de Lima in the 88th minute of play. Rui de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Llorenc in the 92nd minute of play forced S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper Dudu Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dudu Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Micki Owen in the 93rd minute. S.C. Ferrari's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
