Boedo Crows's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Gilesindo Tarapiella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boedo Crows's Cosme Jeraldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Argoitz got free with Vincente Monzon in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Cresconio to maneuver through the defense. Caaguazu made a substitution. Mauro Bocaran replaced Reyes Barcenilla. Boedo Crows's Geronimo Oton was substituted for Rigoberto Argoitz. After 64 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Cresconio. 65 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Quinten came free, but Vincente Monzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Ramon Quinten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernie Romeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Vincente Monzon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Quinten in the 69th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arlo Albiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes of play, Caaguazu's Arlo Albiz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Jeraldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nando Cando hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Boedo Crows's Ramon Quinten in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Vincente Monzon saved Caaguazu from getting behind. Vincente Monzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the referee ended the match the Caaguazu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
