A collision led to US DI BESTI FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Oscar Nascimento hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Niels-Jan Carels got a free kick in the 7th minute. 11 minutes into the match, US DI BESTI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Masker came free, but Alfredo Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonny Sneijder in the 17th minute of play forced US DI BESTI FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Falco Boerma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. US DI BESTI FC's Ahmet Baki Zafer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lemel SV. Raymond Bos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fakir Štriker, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 24 played minutes US DI BESTI FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Manhood. Tonny Sneijder kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Verbeek in the 30th minute of play forced US DI BESTI FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Fakir Štriker came free, but Raymond Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemel SV's Peter Smibum suffered a sprained foot after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 42 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. US DI BESTI FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lemel SV the free kick. Lemel SV's Koos Teunissen was substituted for Peter Smibum. After 44 played minutes, Lemel SV's Jan Sterenberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredo Macedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lemel SV reached it. Edward Verbeek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alfredo Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Ceulemans in the 48th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fakir Štriker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, US DI BESTI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Verbeek came free, but Alfredo Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Masker in the 55th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Falco Boerma. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when US DI BESTI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes, Lemel SV's Koos Teunissen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredo Macedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lemel SV reached it. Alfredo Macedo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Lemel SV's Barry Masker. But to his dismay, Barry Masker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Ceulemans in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Barry Masker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alfredo Macedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Masker in the 83rd minute of play. If Vivaldo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Verbeek, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Raymond Bos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Ceulemans in the 94th minute of the match. Lemel SV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
