In the 5th minute, Izydor Jaworski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Caio Peres hit a great ball. Radowit Luty kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Luís Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Luís Fabiano Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwardów's Eugeniusz Fiszer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Saldanha in the 26th minute of play. Eugeniusz Fiszer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilson Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 30 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Gilson Saldanha made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Fiszer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Jaworski came free, but Luís Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fabiano Esteves hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Damazy Miodek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Miodek in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Izydor Jaworski made a kick off. Edwardów's Eugeniusz Fiszer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Edwardów from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the game, Edwardów's Damazy Miodek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Maia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Leonard Pryputnicki took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Maia. Luís Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Izydor Jaworski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugeniusz Fiszer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dudu Fernandes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 73 minute of play. Gilson Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eugeniusz Fiszer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Gilson Saldanha came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eugeniusz Fiszer could save by the left post. After 84 played minutes Edwardów got a freekick which was hit by Walery Pawelczyk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Fernandes in the 85th minute of play forced Edwardów's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Fiszer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Jaworski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luís Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Dudu Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edwardów's Eugeniusz Fiszer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
