Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bart Vetter in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Sazon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, Paulo Teinturier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gervasio Sazon. Paulo Teinturier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Paulo Teinturier notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ORIZABA F.C.'s Gervasio Sazon. Gervasio Sazon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when William Lepreux came free, but Gervasio Sazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. R.C. Marseille's Paulo Teinturier got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustave Lechat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Ramone in the 30th minute of the match. Gustave Lechat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Ramone in the 41st minute of play. Victor Maxin charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Maxin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victor Maxin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Sofiane Candau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Sazon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulises Ramone to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ulises Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustave Lechat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Ramone's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Gervasio Sazon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bart Vetter went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. 78 minutes in the game, Bart Vetter dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Ulises Ramone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niceto Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Ramone in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustave Lechat saved R.C. Marseille from getting behind. Luka Le Tiec hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cesar Lop's shot from long distance in the 88th minute was not bad at all, but R.C. Marseille's Gustave Lechat knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Ulises Ramone put it in 8-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gustave Lechat. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The R.C. Marseille fans cheered their team off the field, for while ORIZABA F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
